  7. SASCO has failed the students disimally. Allm they were effective on is claiming for structures that want money. Its all about the money and not the students. MUT could have been a good university if students were support by the SRC, But they dont. They are interested in claiming. Most of the students dont know how much they have been requesting. STUDENTS HELP YOURSELF COZ THE SRC WILL NEVER HELP YOU...IM TALKING FROM EXPERIENCE!

  8. th src should not be about representing their political leaders or parties lyk sasco who alwys fly the flag with zuma and bring malema to skwl but it should be about representing the students fighting for students. it lyk sasco was reprenting the management this year

  12. I say SASCO has only certisfied only the needs of those students who were too much into entertainment and booze. at times I regret enrolling in this institution, because of the huge focus on politics, entertainment etc. next year won't be a good year at all, although a new src will be in control...there are still a lot of issues that need to be addressed, so next year's src will have to work BIG! time..I wish them luck..may God help them in whatever they do...

  13. we as students of M.U.T have hope in sadesmo leadership especially Mxolisi Ndlovu who is the S-G of the S.R.C, these guys have proven to be trustworthy leaders. their past credentials acredits them to lead this university, they dont bow to management but represent the unterest of the poor in the form of equality. let us join hands and support the S.R.C for transforming our university and ensuring that we make it a better society. the underpreviledge should be given a chance to pursue their ambitions.

  16. MUT is one of the disastrous and disorganized institution i've ever seen. From Management to students structures.I went there last year to help my cousin who applied there. We stayed in one queue for the whole day and no one had a decency of at least updating us of what was happening, and later in the afternoon we were told to leave and come back the following day. The next thing they did, they accepted students who did not even apply ahead of students who applied and accepted. The SRC guys were so helpless, they just walk around joking with their friends and they think they are celebrities of some sort, they forget that they were voted to address the challenges of students not to frustrate them.If u don't know an SRC guy there u won't register irrespective of whether u applied or not, or whether you meet the entry requirements or not.So how can we trust the institution that can't even make proper arrangements for students' registration? Management and SRC need to visit other institutions to see how things are done, bayeke ukuba amahlathi.

  20. Ayikho into eyolunga when the SRC is SADESMO, know why, inkatha does not have a clue on how to solve problems besides beating up people trying to make a point, this exactly depict the way they are and the way they will always be, pitty for those who voted for sadesmo, I'm not infavour with sasco, it also disappointed us, but we have no scares from being beaten up!!

MUT is one of the disastrous and disorganized institution i've ever seen. From Management, lectures to students structures.I was studing there, the lectuers were use to come late, the sylubas is out dated, angisayiphathi eyama computer labs ihlazo. plus o minus 10000 student needs to use computer only to find 150 computers osebenzayo.they called it univesirty of technology, i never saw technology to that insitution, went there last year to help my cousin who applied there. We stayed in one queue for the whole day and no one had a decency of at least updating us of what was happening, and later in the afternoon we were told to leave and come back the following day. The SRC has failed the students dismally, you will learn from this year registration which was the most frustrating and disgracing I have ever seen in my entire life, I am saying this because you will remember that last year registration was smooth and quick, you could not take two days when you are registering. Resident deposit was R2500 not R3500,You did not pay 100% of your last dept b4 you register, 2010 SRC allocated R250.000 to register students while your 2011 SRC has not allocated even a cent except that your so called president has CHAW R100.000 FOR WHICH HE WAS SASPENDED FOR. Do you remember when they say they will open a book shop, Do you remember when they say the will be no parents meeting, Do you remember when they say NSFAS will pay for meals and books, Do you remember when they say they will add more Buses and Accommodation. Do you know that since they we inaugurated they have not called even a single meeting where at least those capacitated and intellectuals (Tosh, Sandile, Jacob and Nontobeko) whom we trust would make a wake up call to this other 6 power mongers that the SRC is not a platform to advance personal interest, it is a structure that should all the time cater students issues regardless of political affiliation. All this empty promises and failure of the current SRC must function as the wake up call for students. Mostly important remember to register to vote in the upcoming local government election and make an educated vote for this peoples party vote ANC. Aluta continue AMADLA

  24. ayikho lento ye SRC yalonyaka, the only thing on their minds is going to the dinning hall and providing meals for their female friends, most of the students were not able, or given an opportunity to register. the rersidence officer allowed the wardens to allocate residences through their own systems which were judgemental and baised againgst some students, also the src is very fraudulent in their dealings robbing the students of each and every little cent that their parents have to give, the only proposal they managed to forward to management was the proposal to increase the src levy now students is it really the kind of src that we want and voted for.....this current year i predict havoc and disaster.....from ths cultural hooligans...cartoons and reactionary forces to the struggle of the poor students of the working class....*mxm zinja*

  25. I am convinced dat I really made a mistake o f not voting the elections. current SRC do not care about us, they don't update us what going on, they are no where to be found on their offices. all they know is dinning hall as the other student have said.
