now i know you all have taught me well that to be successful one should learn the hard way that all each one of us is hoping for great things comes to those who wait except for those who chase them around and lead us to the wrong direction filling our heads with lies come on! people we are underprivileged and don't even try to think we are not sane either, ngiyanicela either from sasco or sadesmo or any political organisations or individuals musani ukusuxhaphaza since ninale idea yokuthi sivela emakhaya okanye ezilalini or whatever you may call it we are here for one thing and for one thing that is common for each one of us and that's EDUCATION,OUR DIPLOMAS,OUR TICKET to great things and better life but ke mina I'm a 2nd year and in my life i've never experienced the hell i've been 18 months and they say there is 1st time to everything but this was too much for me, the least you could do for thina is tell us the truth not the bunch of lies we've heard if bekuya ngam i would have dislosed my student number so uzoya kokhipha istatement and actually see the amount i owe for my fee but you would threaten me nje ngoba nithreatnishana phambi kwethu and behind our backs niwrong shame niwrong ngaphezu kwakho konke niyasiqhatha singamastudents yazi futh nina anisicabangeli it never occured to you that you are slowly placing our future into the line ubusy uschomela ngezinto owazazenza, ozozenza nin? masengikuvotelile you will personally thank me cha ngeke ukwenze wena lokho angithi ngenkathi ungunobody you beg me and even assure me and as hopeful as i am i cast a vote for you then when you are somebody you weren't and mina i take your previous position i'm a nobody its hurt God knows it does I'd write all day the things that you have done to us and the strain it has put on our academic performance ngisovalweni that i might never be somedody as i thought to be when i set my foot on this constitution yazi baqinisile abathi life is not fair it really not fair.........
yeah u can have many rez' but at the end of the day it is the quality that counts not the quantity remember that, if u go to the rez' intown they are really not up to standard and yet students pay so much money for them. so all in all for me i also think we are screwd.... i mean think about it for a sec the main purpose of a university is 4 students to further their careers n so 4th now how in the world will u meet that goal if there is 6 of u in a room? is it a dometry or rez?
I think the topic was not understood. This is not about residences (izindawo zokuhlala) but the topic is about how do they feel about the new residents (which I think they are refering to the above pictures as new residents,ngesiZulu abahlali abasha okuyizinkawu namakati nezinyoni on campus)
1st of all MUT is meant to be your house or your home,as soon as you get comfortable there you will not get what you came there to get and go.You will over stay your welcome,be an expense and start making babies.I was at MUT left in 2008 doing Civil now I am working for Eskom building the fourth biggest power station in the world.I lived on campus for a year,then lived at Astra,where I got robbed of my laptop but I knew 1 thing that I wanted nothing else in the world but to finish my studies and get out of there.Crying over res is not going to help you at all.Residence are bad but dont get comfortable.MUT do something about this,the students are paying for their accomodation not you,they deserve better.
